Daily BP to Health

Privacy Policy

How Daily BP to Health handles a blood pressure reading you enter or read from a screenshot.

Effective September 29, 2026 Developer: Stephen Rau

What this app is

Daily BP to Health lets you keep one blood pressure average for a calendar day. You type the numbers, or you share a Detailed Mode screenshot and the app suggests systolic and diastolic from text it recognizes on the device.

A shared screenshot needs Confirm unless you turn on Auto-write. Same-day Confirm replaces today’s sample. In Automatic mode, the app can also save or update one daily average from blood pressure already in Apple Health. The Health average never replaces a number you entered yourself. Auto-write stays off unless you turn it on.

Numbers you type, or that are read from a screenshot, are not a cuff reading captured by this app.

No account

There is no account, no sign-in, and no third-party login. The developer does not ask for a name, email, or password inside the app.

On-device recognition only

Screenshot text recognition runs on your device. The app does not upload the screenshot, the recognized text, or the blood pressure numbers to a server operated by the developer.

No servers collecting readings

The developer does not run servers that collect blood pressure. Nothing you log is sent to the developer as part of using the app.

Blood pressure stays on this device

Blood pressure numbers, the reading recognized from a screenshot, and the on-device history stay on this device and in Apple Health only. They are not stored in iCloud.

With your permission, the app also reads blood pressure from Apple Health on this device to keep one daily average in Automatic mode, including background delivery, and to check whether you already logged today so the reminder can be skipped; those reads are not sent anywhere.

If iCloud is on for your Apple ID, the app may sync non-health preferences with iCloud Key-Value Storage in your own iCloud account, such as manual or automatic mode and the reminder time. That copy does not include blood pressure readings or history. The developer cannot sign in and read it.

Apple Health can sync blood pressure samples to your other devices when Health in iCloud is on. That is Apple Health, not a copy kept by this app.
